Hawke Airmax 30 4-16x50. ill. AMX reticle. 30mm tube. 1/4 moa clicks. Comes with flip up covers, sunshade, side wheel, all other contents in the box.

Vortex Diamondback 4-12x40. BDC hash reticle. 1” tube. Covers, manual etc.
€150.

The Vortex would be ideal on a .22
I had this scope on a .22 marlin lever action before I sold the rifle. The reticle was great for holdover with subs.

I could be tempted by either of them, wasnt planning to changing my mounts, but how do you rate them to each other or other scopes? Ive a Hawke which Ive been thinking of upgrading although I was considering more power, the reticle type is also in my mind, and excuse my lack of knowledge but whats the turret on the leftside for of the hawke? focus/mag seems to be near the objective lens.


The vortex, Ive seen some heard good and not so good, I like the reticle, 1/2" moa? I prefer moa adjustment but Id need to get pen and paper out to relate that to mildot, is it all mildot on the reticle?
