How much is my car worth

I'm looking at selling a Honda Accord 2006 soon and looking at Donedeal prices seem all over the place.

Car is 2.0 petrol exec spec with 150,000 miles. Similar cars are up for prices from €1,250 to €2,500. I saw Unkel posted one on KKV's C5 thread a few weeks back for €850.

What price can I realistically expect to sell at, advertise €1,250 and sell at €1,000?

Half that if you want to shift it

Really? Advertise for €625 and sell for €500 seems extreme. I noticed the one advertised for €850 was gone in 2 days or so and that was in Wexford. I'd expect more buyers in Dublin where I'll be selling.

Start it at €1250 maybe even €1500 and keep dropping till it sells. Since it's an 06 you should get more than €500 for it. The Dublin thing will help too. Is it a nice colour?

Type s accords tend to sell quicker.

but it on Bangernomics thread on here, as it a long NCT ?

NCT until next March, Tax until Jan. Everything on it works fine and it's always been serviced on or before time. Colour is silver.
Drives great but with petrol price up I find it uneconomical to keep for the mileage I do.

Not selling for a couple of weeks so can't post it yet.

Not type S, I noticed some of them are up for several thousand more.

It being silver won't help in resale value. They're generally cheaper to buy/harder to sell. But best of luck with the sale anyways.

I'd advertise it at €1200 and take as close to 1k as possible.

If it has NCT until March and tax until end of January should sell no problem for €1000 once the right person wants it. Is it manual or automatic?

It's manual. Does Auto add much value?

I wouldn't say it would add much but there's far fewer of them for sale, so I'd say an auto would sell quicker. Main thing against cars over 12 years is insurance on older cars being only handled by a couple of companies.

Yeah it's caught in a bit of a price trap between age, insurance and tax. No complaints, I got it fairly cheap for the same reason and it's served me very well with zero hassle. It was actually a poster on this forum who pointed it out as a good deal (Bigus I think) and lead me to buy it. Thanks for all the advice guys, advertise 1200, sell 1000 seems the way to go.
