Cistern water feeds keep getting airlocked

    Hey again folks,
We have an attic water tank that only feeds 3 cisterns in the house. One pipe comes from the tank in the attic to a hot press upstairs and then splits into 3. Thats prob the problem, the pressure is fairly low allowing air back up into the pipe work.
I've looked to see if there was another way of feeling the cisterns but I don't think their is another way with the layout of the house. I could feed one of them off the mains maybe or is that against 'code'? :)

I had a notion of installing a small pressure pump before the split. Is that a bad idea? If the power fails, would the pump end up stopping all flow?
