Floor polish without mess

We’re putting our house on the market but after everything else was spruced up the solid wood floor now looks a bit tired. Is it possible to get it polished with no mess or dust? We got it sanded by a big Polish guy a few years ago and it looked fantastic after but I can’t remember how much dust was created.
