I haven't weighed them but definitely not a heavy wheelset! I got them built to use in Europe TBH, I'd have no problems using them in the Alps!
Not at home to weigh either.

    By website calculation 1400kg

Wouldn't be able to post or deliver for that price!
I'm in Dublin on the way to the airport tomorrow, could meet city centre or possibly sometime next week?

I live and work in Deansgrange. No mad rush on delivery.

Can go another tenner for post, if that's the issue?

Can you tell me a bit more about these please? Why get a pair of custom wheels made and then not use em? I've had hand-built wheels before that gave me nothing but trouble & wouldn't stay true, but those dt Swiss hubs are lovely

A friend took the hubs off Enve wheelset and replaced them with Chris Kings. The hubs were sitting there, I sourced DT Swiss rims and Salim spokes. Had a very reliable person build them for me, who I've used for everything above basic bike maintenance.
But to answer your question, I simply don't need them so sell them unused!

Hand built wheels if built properly should stay true for a long long time... for me the key is to ensure spoke tensions are within 5% of each other (for the same side) whilst maintaining roundness and laterally true

    Hello GiantRosa!

Could the rear hub be made to take a 10s cassette (Shimano 105) by inserting a spacer?

    Kind regards, TeaScone.

To answer your question TeaScone and reiterate Eamonator, yes this can be done.
11 speed wheels are also 10 speed with spacer been used.
I accept your offer for wheelset and delivery. Pm sent.

No sign of that PM yet, GiantRosa. No rush though; I am away until Sunday, Dec. 16th. Kind regards, TeaScone.

I would be very interested in these wheels if the above sale falls through.
