Recommend part time courses?

I am looking for a career change and want to move into IT.

I studied IT 15 years ago, but due to circumstances at the time, moved into another trade.
I completed a National cert in IT support and learned basic programming, hardware and networking (CCNA part 1 and 2 only as the college didn't offer the 2nd half which we were told near the end of the course). I really liked Visual Basic, hardware and networking but hated C++. I am a techie and so I am familiar with Windows, basic Linux, home networking, hardware, etc.

I am currently in full time employment so I am looking for evening/weekend courses in the Dublin area and also online. I would be a mature student so I don't want to spend years studying. I would like to learn maybe Python, Java or networking by studying online and then take some evening courses to get certs. Eventually I would like to get into digital forensics or cyber security but am open to other areas.

Most IT jobs advertised require a huge amount of skills even for entry level.

Can anyone please recommended some courses that are quick, that I can do at my own fast pace, that are not too expensive and will give me a decent chance of getting into the IT sector?
