Just seen if anyone knows. What could be issue. Done timing on car. First time was 1 tooth out, and then second time we timed it perfect and check again after and TDC matches with the cam bar going flat into ends of cams.

It's idling off. As in it sounds about right but shutters and is rough.

Done compression test and all cylinders have good compression.

Noticed when I took spark plug out of cyclinder one it starts to idle fine.

    Anyone seen this before.

Just asking here before I take head off to visually check for a bent valve, as only thing I can think of since timing was literally off by a tooth first time.

For anyone interested, managed to get to the bottom of the problem, turned out to be the spark plugs causing the issue, changed them out and the problem resolved.
