So I've started collecting Mens Fragrances and plan to pick up one or 2 new ones a month.

    August 2018 Arrivals

    - DIOR Sauvage Parfum

    September 2018 Arrivals

    - Yves Saint Laurent La Nuit De L'Homme Parfum

    - Dolce and Gabbana The One Parfum

Let me know of any recommendations you may have.

Look on basenotes/fragrantica. Loads of best of lists. You may want to narrow it down and state a preference- ambers, gourmands, citrus, leathers etc. Theres dozens (sometime hundreds) in each category. The splits thread here is great for creeds, fords and many more and a great way to try a reasonable amount before dropping a load of cash. For other frags there are sample sellers in Uk but you may need to use parcel motel because of perfume shipping restrictions.

Any links to good sample sellers?

    These are mainly for niche.
    https://www.fragrancesamplesuk.com/
    https://essenza-nobile.de/fragrances/
    https://www.ausliebezumduft.de/
    https://www.notino.co.uk/
and sometimes if you look up the house itself they may have availability to buy a sample pack.

Smelly water with fancy names so it is.

Wasting the hard earned so you are. At least buy the copies if you must. Not like anyone knows the difference.

There's a thread in here for niche fragrances, Tom ford, creed, kurkidjan, amouage and others.. Pat buys the large bottles, decants them..and we all get bottles of high end juice at prices you'd pay for your normal high street fragrances ..some very knowledgeable folk there also if you want to ask some questions.

Ps..I would recommend Creed Aventus...a beautiful scent that has a pineapple theme and is very popular with the ladies

    Exactly

Pat is brilliant to deal with as well

You get fragrances you would never think of trying

One unusual one I really like is Serge Lutens Five O'Clock Au Gingembre

Creed Viking is very good as well

I'm looking forward to trying out Spice and Wood later on

Some of the Tom Creed fragrances are a bit more.. punchy for want of a better word..over the last few days I've been wearing Oud wood & Tuscan Leather...Def not summer scents and over the coming months they will be hit hard along with Tobacco Vanille

    Edit...meant not summer scents :)

I have the DIOR and YSL ones here you mention, in EDT form. They're nice, my kind of smell anyway.

Personal fav is Chanel Platinum Egoiste. Bleu de Chanel and Armani Code Profumo honourable mentions.
