    Hi all

I thought Id try here rather than the motoring forum because you lads are much more knowledgable on such matters :D

Following on from a previous question about buying a Hilux, well Ive bought the Hilux and then bought a canopy.

Being the idiot I am I didnt get any clamps for the canopy (Seller doesnt have any, and I didnt know I needed ones before buying, thought the canopy could just be screwed/bracketed on) and now am looking for advice as to where to get clamps.

The Hilux is a 2013 and the canopy is a 2007, the canopy has a pop up back boot window and glass sides. See attachments.

If ye know of where I could get clamps (at a reasonable price) or have any ideas as to other ways of attaching canopy to truck Id appreciate the advice

I wouldn't be an expert or anything like it but would a call to some breakers be worth a shot.

Or Donedeal, search for Hilux breaking and there's 276 ads for that so bound to be one somewhere near you?
One below in Leitrim has a few different ones breaking atm so might be worth a shout?

Look up the manufacturers website and try to contact them. If they can oblige you'd get the right clamps and new ones that would work.

Well Ive rang the main Toyota Dealers here in Donegal and they've quoted me a price of €130 for the clamps so trying to find cheaper before I have to order them from Toyota, thanks though

Try north south Toyota in louth, they are very good for second hand stuff and will post all over the country, also connought 4x4 in tuam co galway has a massive selection of crew cabs for sale so might have one with the canopy damaged that you could get the brackets off

    Would G clamps work?
