If you're in Carlow town tomorrow, why not drop into Visual at lunchtime (12:45), where I'll be giving a live demonstration of our sitebuilder and domain registration, with a few tips on getting the most out of your own domain name.

How to Cook a Website in 20 Minutes is a rather tongue in cheek title, but the aim is to showcase how much you can do in a mere lunchtime. We recommend you take more time, if you can  spare it!

Along with the fun comes some helpful advice. Social media is great - but should you trust your business completely to Facebook? What if setting up your own website was easier than you think?

Admission is free, but we invite you to make a donation on arrival. 100% of the funds collected will be donated to the nominated charity for the series: Carlow Special Olympics.

Lunch is provided - so please book in advance to allow us to plan for the numbers. Thanks!

    And this is the result

    carlowspecialolympics.club

The purpose of this talk was to show how easy it is to set up a website on a domain of your own. And there are lots of other great lunchtime talks to come in the Carlow Chamber Members for Charity series.

All proceeds go to Carlow Special Olympics Club.
