    Hi guys,

I got called for interview for a science based job with the public services after passing the assessment center stage. I don't really have much interview experience and in particular this will be my first public jobs interview. Could anyone who's been through the process before shed a bit more light on what type of questions etc. to expect?

    Thanks a million!

Have a look at the competencies in the job spec. Know them thoroughly and have two examples for each competency. They will ask you question around the competency for example how did you deal with a difficult employee, have you worked in a team that did not perform and why.

Did an interview for a university position recently. For a technical role, and it was all scenario based. Example where you x y and z. Be prepared for questions about the role / facility. Mine was in front of a panel of 5. As above, prepare from job posting. Prepare some questions about the role for you to ask.
