Old Planning vs New planning

    Hi,
    A few years ago I applied for and was granted planning permission. It nearly lapsed so I applied for an extension and it too was granted (Another 5 years)


    After the extension was granted I went to a new architect to redesign the layout and applied for new planning permission. This was recently granted however the architect made a mistake on the plans and put a door where we really just wanted a window. (Stay with me)


    On the original planning permission the window was approved. Can I revert to that plan for that one item or do I need to stick with whats in the new planning permission.


    I know I can make an amendment but I'm just seeing if I would need to do that or can I just go ahead and revert back tot he original plan ning for that one item

    You cannot apply certain aspects of one application and certain aspects of another.

    But, it can depend on the location of this door/window.

    Maybe post the 2 floor plans highlighting what you want?

    Cant lay my hands on the old plans but the new one shows it (See pic)
    Where there is a door it was originally planned to have a large window (Bottom left of Picture)
