I ordered a camera with priority delivery which was received by Anpost on Monday the 27th of August. It hasn't moved since.

Contacted Amazon last week who sent out a replacement which was received by Anpost on Friday. No movement on it today

    Anybody going through the same?

    Thats abnormal.

Expected behavior is amazon to be "Dispatching" it for a day or two, then at 4AM ish it appears in AP tracking as its scanned overnight and will go out for delivery same day (in Dublin at least).

I agree , totally abnormal and strange that it happened twice in a week for the same type of item

I've had Prime for 3-4 years, the vast majority of it came via ParcelMotel, few hundred items. They started facilitating Prime to Ireland for free recently, and while it's normally a day slower, the 5 or so deliveries I've had since then have been spot on, and didn't cost €4 apiece. One was big, postman had to ring the door, the rest went through the letterbox.

Another day of waiting here. Amazon CS seem to be totally clueless on the delay.

Have you contacted AnPost and asked them what they are doing with it?

They told me they are looking into it

Given it's happened to 2 items my guess would be that the either the label is not printing properly leaving out details like house number or the address is totally scrambled having only name and/or area .

I've heard the no house number occurs on a number of items per night in every office but there is methods to get the house number so that problem usually only delays it a day .

    Another day without updates.

I mentioned the possibility of a problem with the label on the package to amazon, again they told me that they'll contact the carrier.

In the meantime, an post didn't get back to me either.

    It's all very strange

amazon won't refund me yet, they are asking me to wait until next tuesday which for me seems ridiculous for something that is registered as being in Dublin since last friday

What was the reason for the delay?

None provided, I didn't sign for the deliveries myself. But my address on the parcel was perfect so it couldn't have been that
