Handy offer where they will beat your renewal price from a competitor by €50.

    Policies must match on:
    • Buildings cover
    • Contents cover
    • Accidental damage
    • Excess amount
    • Specified/unspecified items

First year is cheap then you need to move again as renewal quotes are ridiculous.

I'm with chrome insurance can't get a better quote in the last 4 years..theres always a catch or lure no bank here in Ireland gives anyone a good deal they'll probably throw on 200 more next year..worth checking who's the underwriter of their policy

Yeah of course, but you should move every year regardless to get the best deal. At least that has always been my experience

The catch before was you had to pay their quote amount and they'd sent you a cheque in the post for the difference of your old quote and their new.

    Its not worth the hassle.

All these home insurance provide different rates of cover for example the fire brigade charges are different replacement locks costs are different and the freezer contents costs are different(but why claim for).

Fire Brigade charges can be expensive as they charge and hourly rate you local county council with have charges I live in Clare and they charge 500 an hour for domestic fires.

It almost like shopping for car insurance compare all these with other quotes ask or check website for these covers.

I have seen in some cases 1000 for Fire brigade charges and another offering 2,500 similar with locks some offer 350 while others offer up to 750.

Now I would hope that no one requires these services but if you do then lets hope your saving of 25 euro wont cost you more in the long run.
