Car rental excess insurance

Hi folks, Quick question- I bought vehicle excess insurance for a rental in the Uk off an Irish insurance company. There is a small mark/dent on the skid that I will have to pay for. If I claim the excess off the insurance- will it affect my no claims discount on my car? Thanks in advance.

No - it has nothing to do with your car insurance.
