does anyone know why the U.K. gets shows on Netflix that we don’t get in Ireland? I thought the U.K. and Ireland were one unit, but on recent travels to the U.K. I saw shows coming up on my account that hadn’t been available before?

Ireland and the UK were always separate to each other on Netflix.

    Hi,

I am trying to setup Pin parental controls and maturity levels for my 12 year old's profile.

The issue I have is that if I set it so that my 12 year old does not need to enter a pin they can also view content for 15 and 16 year olds, see options below.

    Little Kids - G
    Older Kids - PG
    Teens - 12, 12A, 15, 15A, 16
    Adults - 18

I see several articles dated Mar 5, 2018 talking about "improved parental controls and maturity ratings" that show different settings below.

    Little Kids - G
    Older Kids - PG
    Teens - PG-13
    Adults - R

Does anyone know if Netflix plan to roll these settings out here ?

    Thanks in advance.

Should have separate Twitter accounts for U.K. and Rep of Ireland for this very reason.

    Moved to Cable

Though in my experience there’s very little differences between the UK and ROI catelogues. They aren’t the same, but the gap is small - not like Prime Video.

Netflix parental controls are a joke. Even with a pin you can still go into each others profiles. Who designed that insane system.

People blame parents but actually all of the media companies have almost zero parental controls.

For example Virgin Media have no means to block apps like YouTube from their horizon box.
