    Hi

According to this https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.lgi.virgintv&hl=en_IE you need android 4.03 or higher, and it won’t run a rooted box, so 99.99% of the ones from box sellers on adverts or donedeal are no use to you. Try looking for a genuine Minix Android box new or second hand, they are well supported by the manufacturer and have a dedicated forum. Make sure it meets the android version requirement.

The (few) reviews on that link wouldn’t inspire confidence, if you want more info etc I’d recommend posting on the Talk toforum for Virgin Media here on Boards - https://www.boards.ie/ttforum/1546

An nVidia Shield is the gold standard as far as Android devices are concerned - the question I'd be asking is whether the actual service is robust and reliable - you should be seeking advice on the Talk To Virgin Media forum as to whether this service is properly supported by Virgin. I'd be reluctant to buy an expensive Android box solely for this purpose without being confident that the service was worth it.

Virgin won't help me on this as they offer Multiroom bundles

I would like to use an Android box to run Virgin Anywhere along with other apps

I have a rooted box and it won't work
