Shocked that anyone thought they'd get away with resource to make up the gap.
At end of it all, there must be classes somewhere with lower numbers. We all have the same PTR ratio.

Parents online claiming the JI have two classes of 14. Seems to be more to the story on all sides. Obviously it would be very wrong to use resource hours to split the class but I'm not at all shocked it was suggested given the many scandalous uses of these hours up and down the country.

SEN teachers used this way may be taken from the school. But hey, Richard Bruton says it's not happening https://twitter.com/RichardbrutonTD/status/1035543303729627137

Sounds plausible. With 7 teachers for 190 pupils, ignoring SEN teachers, the pupil teacher ratio for the school is 1:27.

Two junior infant classes can't be justified if there are 41 in 5th and 6th class.
