Live music tonight in Whitehall area

I'm looking to see a decent band tonight at a bar, prefer not to stray too far from Whitehall. Definitely not into town, anyone know anywhere good? Was thinking McGowans, Phibsboro but theres a DJ on instead of a band.

Bit late but there's normally live music in the Ivy and Kennedys in Drumcondra.
