Hi - sorry this has probably been asked here before Im sure - I just sold my late mothers car to a guy and just remembered (now that he has driven away) that the road tax had only been paid up until Jun this year. I wasnt able to declare it off the road online as the insurance had run out. When Im sending in the log book on Monday I will have a letter from the executor of the estate.

Will the guy that bought it have any hassle (ie. be expected to pay for July and Aug)? Or do I need to/should I fill out a RF150 (?)

Nope, he's just liable from 1st of month he purchased it.

Probably why he waited until today.
