Price increase voiding contract

    I noticed on my recent bill there was a price increase (which was not communicated to me) I assume this now allows me to switch provider without penalty ( I am within a 12 month contract) as your a changing the terms of the contract we agreed

    Hi irishguy,

    We can confirm that a media release was distributed by Electric Ireland on 27th June in relation to the price change.

    We need to advise that this change does not affect a customer's contract for the new registration bonus, and that this contract remains in place 12 months from their date of registration.
