Hi all I know this has been asked plenty of times , we are currently thinking of trading in our Massey Ferguson 4270 for a newer tractor with a loader ,
Which of the following would have the least problems

    Case JXU 105
    Landini powerfarm
New Holland Ts 100 ( JXU equivalent )
    Massey Ferguson 5455

It would be used for the usual operations , slurry , manure , bales & shear grab , topping ect ,

Probably around 2000 hours a year between everything

The landini vision or 5h would have a fair bit more weight than the powerfarm, and shouldn't cost much more, it would be alot more suitable as a 100hp loader tractor than the power farm.

All good options, are you doing 2000 hours per year? That's almost 6 hours per day everyday of the year.

All tractors will have problems, look at the local dealer back up and see which one is best for dealing with issues when they arise as modern machines are getting more complex.

JXU 105 is not the same as ts100. It is the same as TL100A. TL and TLA series are based on fiat tractors.
MXU100 would be the same as TS100.
    Maxxum100 the same as TS100A.

I would think so most of my tractors do 1000 hours roughly a year they don't be idle on contract work.

The oldest tractor I have is a john deere 6930 which I use for spraying, fertilizing, general running around drilling it has 11,500 hours, Fendt 2013 bought three years ago another contractor had it had to be done up no problems with it does all the mowing , raking, drawing corn some planting it was in a bad way in the garage but the local dealers did a good job on it. .Valtra new 2017 starting to grow on me does all the bailing cultivating sowing etc 1,500 hours since I got it 2016 Massy which draws silage with a2010 New Holland the hours are getting high on it so I am thinking of changing. Never really had a major problem with any of the above the valtra was bought through a sales man persisting with me. The only tractor I had a headache with was a Leyland 272 it was a disaster if anything could go wrong it went.Cutting down silage last weekend with a zetor got it out for a day with the local dealer what a difference in what they were what they are now.
