Not a huge difference in time between the two. Train is more comfortable, bus cheaper.

Take a look at Dublin Coach, last time I was travelling, considerably cheaper than Bus Eireann.

+1 on Dublin Coach. Much better route and quicker journey than BE with good fares too.

Aircouch got me up last time for a one day festival, fairly flew (pardon the pun) up and back. Not too sure of the cost but was pretty cheap

Bus outside Custom House. 10 euro single ticket.

I'm using all the time at the moment as in Belfast a lot.

Train is a rip off and take a 2 hr 20
Bus Eireann is a nightmare as stops everywhere and takes 2 hr 45
Aircoach crawls through drumcondra and stops at airport. Takes 2 hr 15
Dublincoach takes the tunnel and has no stops. 1 hr 40.

All the buses drop you to glengall st (or bus station, which is essentially glengall st) in Belfast city centre.

Dublincoach 100%. It's the cheapest too.
