Titan multitool issues

Hi, We're having problems with our titan multitool. Hi,

We're having problems with our titan multitool. No matter what tool you are using, (hedge trimmer or brushcutter etc) The engine runs fine, but when I squeeze the 2 handles to engage the blades, they run for a few seconds then stop. The engine stays on, so it's not cutting out completely.

Sometimes it'll keep going for 5 minutes or so, but most of the time the blades either slow right down or stop completely after 10 seconds ish.

Could it be something faulty with the safety catch thing that you have to hold in order to pull the main lever?

Or any other suggestions? It's only new.
