Front door Security Camera to TV

Hi guys any suggestions for a security camera that be set at a front door and have the image show up to a TV in the living room? I need a simple system for an aged relative who lives alone and wants to see who is at the door before deciding whether or not to answer. The simpler the system the better.

Perhaps a system with it's own dedicated always on screen, perhaps in the hall, would be simpler?

On the geeky end, perhaps something like Ring or Nest doorbell cameras and a cheap tablet, unlocked and always on would be another option.

Amazons Fire tablets are like just €50 and you could leave it plugged in always and powered on and just the video app showing.
