Mountain Biking Salou

    In Salou for a few days, and I've been checking online and even contacted a tour company who rents road bikes (who didn't respond), but wondering if anyone knows of any company doing PROPER mountain bike excursions in the area?

    Salou itself is quite flat, but I know there are hills less than 30km that may have trails, just can't find anyone that may do bike hire and guided routes!!

    Haven't heard of Salou as a MTB destination...

    Have a search though Strava for any tracks, most likely forestry walking paths i'd say..

    Oh it isn't that's for sure, but judging by the hills only 30/40 mins away I thought there would be day excursions, my search came up blank.

    I was there recently and I did see quite a few people on decent MTBs with the proper gear, and I did see vans with bikes, so there's certainly something around that area.

    Google returned a few videos of people MTBing off road and these links which may be of use.

    I believe there's mountain biking in the mountains north of Barcelona according to a friend of mine living there. That shouldn't be too far from Salou..

    There's a fair wedge of listings on trailforks.

    Barcelona, being close by would appear to be absolutely ringed with trails, particularly south-west (so on the way to Salou), and west/north-west
