Home improvement mortgage top-up

    Hi there.

Can anyone tell me if an architectural technician's drawings are acceptable to the bank with drawing down money for home improvements based on a mortgage top up?

The work I need doing doesn't require an architect as there's no extension, or massive alteration of the layout. It would be a huge cost to get an architect to draw out what is effectively quite a simple job.

    Thanks

We just got our builders quote. As long as it is on headed paper and signed, the banks will accept it.
