Virgin media is switching of its analogue service for good in my area - Galway on October 1 and it's going to be doing so nationwide, I'm not sure if it's before or after in the case of other areas.
So the only TV service available from them will be digital.

The letter we received from them today, actually asked us to spread the word and what better forum could I use?rolleyes.png

It will have one consequence apart from upping your TV service cost, if you are not already on digital and that is for those who were tapping into their neighbour's service they will get a right kick up the hole!icon_mrgreen.gif

Quite a few areas have been switched off already. Some discussion over on the Virgin Media forum.

Probably no harm in customers looking into 'alternative' services
