    Hi,
    I have looked at a 2012 Mazda 6, 1.8 L Petrol.
Does anyone here have any experience in driving this, and what is it like regarding reliability?

    Thanks in advance

    G

Reliability is great, they don't give any bother so long as theyre serviced every year. There are no known issues that I know of, the 08/09 1.8 engine had oil burning issues but not in the facelift 2010> model. They're slightly underpowered though so if you can find a 2.0 model, they're a much better car, better spec, almost 40bhp more and more economical as the engine doesn't need to be driven as hard to get it to go and theyre the same to tax as the 1.8 model which makes them an all round more sensible option.

I have a 2010 Mazda 6 1.8 petrol for the last 3 years (bought with 50 thousand miles on it and FSH). It burns a small amount of oil, needs to be checked every couple of weeks and topped up. Mine has needed to be topped up with about 10 litres over 30 thousand miles.....(not sure if this is excessive or not)
I had to replace the injectors too after one failed-replaced with second hand ones.
I have the sport model with 18 inch alloys which I find very harsh on the road. Tyres are expensive enough too.
Overall I find the car OK but wouldn't buy another one.
