I was typing a email and it was saved as a draft. The thing wiped on me . Is there any chance I could get it back?

What were you using to write the email and which version? Gmail, Outlook?

Messages in Yahoo automatically saved to drafts in seconds, while you compose. Unless you moved to other folder or did other action it should stay there.

If you delete draft it is deleted permanently, not to you trash.

Yahoo users had experienced drafts disappear before and this was admitted by Yahoo. See relevant thread or google for similar: Drafts missing from Draft folder.

Did you try to contact Yahoo support to report issue and seek for resolution?
