New case (and other recommendations whilst at it)

    Hi folks,

I really really hate the look of my machine, the case is rotten plasticy case and it needs to go.

This is the spec, I am going to try my first ever case transplant, what cases can I go for with this motherboard and spec? Also whilst I am at it, anything else I should consider changing?

The case is a GAME MAX CENTAURI GAMING. I'd love something a lot more slick. I do have 4 X Blue LED Corsair Fans in it which I think would look way better in something else but Im really confused about what cases will work.

    MOTHERBOARD - ASRock H81M-DGS R2.0
PROCESSOR - Intel Core i5-4590 Processor, 3.3GHz BASE, 3.7GHz TURBO
    RAM - 16GB DDR3 KINGSTON 1333MHz (1 x 8GB)
    GRAPHICS CARD - ZOTAC GeForce GTX 970 4GB (ZT-90101-10P) GDDR5
HDDs STORAGE - 1TB HDD HITACHI
PSU - 650W COOLER MASTER RS-650 PSU 80 PLUS BRONZE

Phanteks Evolv, Meshify Mini C, Node 804, Obsidian 350D, Inwin 301.

Like the look of any of those?

Look at the CoolerMaster MasterCase / MasterBox lineup

Your motherboard is micro-ATX so anything in mATX or regular ATX form factor will suit.

I would also recommend to get an SSD (240Gb+) and move Windows to that; will speed up your day-to-day productivity like nothing else.
Finally, a bigger CPU cooler, e.g. Arctic Freezer 33, along with cleaning the old paste will help with temps & lifespan.

Oh to note, I do have a 500GB Samsung SSD now also.

I hate the glass plates. I don't want to see all that dust!
No matter how many times I try to clean it out

There are still glass free cases out there (e.g. Define R6), but the OP does have those LED fans so they gotta show off the bling ;)
Get a case with dust filters. I honestly haven't found the need for anything but annual cleanings with them installed. Also make sure there is sufficient air flow through the case.

Wooden floors with kids and pets means that there is always dust, no matter the airflow.
Need a new case so filters would be good (as long as I don't let them get blocked up!)

Keeping an eye on this thread

Edit: That R6 actually looks nice!

    I've the R5. They're great cases.

One more vote for Meshify C. Great small case.

I will note that the Meshify C is a little louder than some other cases, due to the mesh design. Improves airflow, but at the expense of sound dampening.

I dunno. Mine runs quiet enough with PWM controlled fans. The last case i had which was a Phanteks P350X was much louder and that has regular front.

Mine are running full tilt as Speedfan hates me and I don't have a front panel for my fan controller anymore ._.
I'll sort it out eventually, and even then it isn't "wow that's loud" at all. I mention it just because Gamers Nexus commented on it when I was doing my own research, and it is a concern for some people :)
