    I have FULL COMPREHENSIVE with Aviva. I have PROTECTED NO CLAIMS DISCOUNT. Is it necessary to have STEP BACK protected aswell. I dont understand those terms very well!! Thanks for any help!!

    Not really. All that would happen would be if you used up all your protection and had a third claim they would step back your bonus instead of losing it completely.
    Just make sure you aren't paying for it
