PRSI Class K

I've already requested a review from DSP and revenue, but in case I'm missing something, I though I'd ask here.

I paid 14 class K contributions in 2014 (and 28 in 2013), but from the description on welfare.ie, this is for holders of public offices and people with unearned income.

Is there any reason a part time (or full time) car park attendant on minimum wage would be paying PRSI contributions in this class? I also paid USC that year on a yearly earning of around 3k. I was unemployed or on a FAS course for the rest of the year.
