Coolant mix

So my car was just below minimum when i got warning for the coolant.

Mine was a pink colour coolant and all I had was blue coolant to hand. I topped it up to the max but never thought it could cause issues. It hasn't yet but I read online they shouldn't be mixed.

Will I need to get this drained now I've only driven it for 10 miles or so since I did it.

    Cheers,
    Rob

You will be fine and just to drain it asap. What car is it? I bought pink coolant at a Toyota dealer for €10/litre few months ago.

Check your coolant level often. It shouldn't be dropping. If it is then there's a leak which would need to be looked at.

Cheers I will be keeping an eye on it going forward alright as it shouldn't really be going down.
Fingers crossed it's not something that will cost me a lot of money in the future to fix.
