Samsung volume control crashes remote!

    Very odd error on my remote control which came out of the blue, when I use the
    volume control the whole thing stops working, it can be partially overcome by pressing the EXIT button (which is also used to reset the whole thing which I did earlier when this happened for the first time and before I realised what provoked the 'freeze'). Anyone else had this problem? If I stay away from the volume control its fine.

    Open it up and clean the underneath of the buttons and the contacts on the circuit board. You may be surprised at the amount of gunk/moisture in there.
