Exemptions? What an I do?

    Ok got an exgratia payment from work they have not applied any exemptions which I think are due. Have asked them to correct number of times as all so filled p45 as if all payments t was wages and not lump sum ex gratia etc.

    Contacted revenue sent p45 and copy of payslip showing exgrataia. They say can't do anything need info from ex employer. They have wrote to them some time ago and they have not bothered to reply.

    I have contacted revenue again and they said for me to contact ex employer and refer to there letter that they have not replied my exemployer will not supply anything to me.

    What can I do next is not small sum about 20k ?

    Were you made redundant? If not then what other exemtions apply?
