    Hi
I am looking for advice in relation to a copper beech hedge. The hedge is three years old and has done quite well. I have just noticed in the last few days the tops of the plants have lost leaves. On closer inspection today I saw caterpillars eating the leaves. I took all off that I could see but how can I prevent this?

    What do they look like?

    Might be sawfly larvae.
