    Anyone else signed up for this?

    Have done it twice before and it's good fun. Tbh, the race itself is a bit of a shambles unless you're fast AND lucky enough to get to the bridge in the first 50 or so riders, but the course is usually great so doing the practise runs is actually my favourite part.

    Done it 4 years now and it's like you said race itself is a shambles, got a top 20 one year and the rest was crashes or ****e starts But the weekend is good craic.
    I'll go and ride/spectate this year I think.

    I wonder at what point did the guy in the centre realise he wasn't saving it. Hands on the bars,eyes on the trail,bike sideways in midair :D

    You're mistaken; he was just trying to see how far he could tail-whip before saying hello with his face to both the wheel & ground in front of him.
