    Hi everybody,

I have few questions about Workday here in Dublin. Please send a PM if you're reluctant to make a public comment.

1.) What is it like to work in the engineering sector?
2.) Company is supposedly promoting very good work/life balance. Is that true for this office? Are working hours OK and are they flexible?
3.) Benefits and compensation - are they competitive compared to other larger tech companies?
4.) What's the working atmosphere like?

    Thanks in advance!

I think he is specifically asking about a company , they ranked number 2 on the great place to work last year and number 1 the year before if thats anything to go by

Haven't worked there but I know one lad who has and :

    1) Had no complaints about the work.
    2) Not true, he used to work long hours.
    3) Not sure about this.
    4) Said it was fine, intense at times and the work life balance wasn't great.

Seen that is the biggest complaint about the place , the language is meant to be very limiting , also no way to transfer those skills to another job when looking to move

That's correct. The lad I know used to be a Java developer but his team was a mixture of Java and C# developers.
