Firewood collection

Hey, I've noticed sizable plot of forest has been cut down last year close to where I live in Co.Kildare and there's a lot of good firewood left to rot on the forest floor. Thinking of locating the owner and asking him if I could come in and get myself what's left on the ground, few car trailers would do me for the winter.…

Hey,

I've noticed sizable plot of forest has been cut down last year close to where I live in Co.Kildare and there's a lot of good firewood left to rot on the forest floor.

Thinking of locating the owner and asking him if I could come in and get myself what's left on the ground, few car trailers would do me for the winter. I don't mind paying for it as well.

What would be the best approach on this, any ideas, maybe somebody done it in the past?
