That doesn't necessarily mean that you can't say something nice about it

I meant that in a nice way, Waterford provides my employment.

It has quays. Lots of them. I mean we are talking serious quays in the town.

    Up the deise

Lovely place, the city is full of historical areas such as Reginalds tower, bishops palace, the medieval museum is one of the best in the country and of course the Waterford Crystal visitor centre. We have some nice craft beers, blaas, red lead (luncheon), Potato Scollops

    Rich in sport

Many beaches, the greenway, Comeraghs, Curroghmore house, Lismore Castle, Ardmore round tower, Dunmore east

Great place but we badly need another senior Hurling All Ireland title

    Ardmore is lovely.

All eyes on Kursk. Slava Ukraini.

Big difference between the east and west of the counties; the whole blaa thing doesn't exist west of Dungarvan. Some lovely areas around Dungarvan and Ring and both are worth a visit, although I went to school in the former and used to be an awful sh*t-kicker place at the weekends. Nearby you have the Comeragh mountains which are absolutely fantastic, one of the most scenic places in Ireland. Lismore is a beautiful village and there's loads to see around there and you're only a short spin away from (Tipperary's) Knockmealdowns.

In Lismore, Cork is only about 45 minutes drive away so was historically the more visited urban area over Waterford City.

The Waterford walls thing is a cracking idea, wish more places had those instead of peeling paint and crappy graffiti.

Lovely festival on there at the moment called Waterford Walls. Really cool street art popping up all over the town.

I was down in Dunmore East during the heatwave and thought it looked spectacular .

Looked like the French Riveria. You'd never guess it was Ireland from the photos I took.

Going by memories of childhood summer holidays- Dunmore East is lovely and Cheekpoint is the single most boring place I have ever been in my entire life. We walked about 10 miles in the pouring rain just to get away from it for a few hours.

All Together Now. one of the best newcomers on the festival scene in Ireland and Curraghmore House Estate is a bloody gorgeous area.

If you want to get into it, you got to get out of it. (Hawkwind 1982)

The selling point here seems to be that you're not that far away from other places outside of Waterford :pac:
