    Can't figure this out!
I've a PB Limousin cow here. She is very poor on docility score, only 1 star and 1%. Really poor. She is genotyped.
Now I used Glorieux (XGL) on her as he is 5 stars and 81% on docility. Registered the calf and she is showing up as 1 star and 8% on docility. Explain that?

At any talk from the dept and ICBF I've been at, they say to take the average of both parents. That would be 41% and therefore 3 Stars.

I wouldnt mind but I can rub the cow along her back in the middle of the field. She's that quiet. I had to get rid of her mother though, as she was mad.

Just copped it there. It's the values you average, not the percentile figures.

Mods - you can delete this thread. Just me rambling away!!!

Still good to know as I would have made the same mistake.
