Recommend Keyboard

Hey guys,

I am looking to replace my stock logitech keyboad for a low cost, WIRELESS keyboard suitable for gaming. Ideally I would like it rear illuminated (blue).

Any thoughts?

You sure you want wireless for gaming?

Also, what kind of keys you prefer, mechanical or membrane?

Mechanical preferably.

To be honest, I am a very light gamer, and when I am it's normally point and click style!

Quite a few decent ones on Amazon. All cheap Chinese stuff but they should be durable enough.

The Corsair K95 RGB Platinum is awesome. Have no complaints from the Logitech Orion Spectrum G910.

Neither are wireless but very durable

I had a wireless keyboard before, but it was terrible for gaming!

That wireless Corsair one i linked has a 1ms response time. It's the same with good wireless mice these days. You wouldn't notice the difference between wired and wireless.

Id an awful time with it going out of sync and then interfering with the wireless mouse and headset. Hopefully its vastly improved since then!

Have G910 very good keyboard.

Software is a pile of poop and simply doesnt work but good keyboard.

Just to say that I had a wireless Logitech mouse before (G7 I think) and it worked flawlessly for years until I moved to the city where it started to pick up interference from God knows what and had to be replaced.

This is 5+ years ago now so the technology on all sides may have improved.

Used it for gaming and never noticed the delay being a problem although to be fair I'm not much good so it's not certain that I'd be able to tell!!

Think about whether you're going to ever actually need the keyboard to be wireless.
99% of keyboards stay in 1 place while you're using them.
Unless you're using the keyboard on a sofa while gaming on a TV - get a wired (cheaper, no battery problems, unlikely to break).

The reason for wireless is actually more of a preference for cleanliness on the desk, no need for cables/clutter to be honest

Ill have a look at some of the suggestions and let you know what I go with! Cheers guys!

I have this Aukey mechanical with blue switches. Not wireless but the build quality is great. Fulfilled by Amazon so quick delivery.

I picked up a Corsair Vengence K70 a few years ago and it's still as good as it was the day I got it. Would deffo recommend.

Got a Logitech G413 last week.
Lovely typing experience on the romer g switch.
There's some edge on the aluminium plate though, cut the hands of you if you're not careful!
