The parents car is due a NCT next month and the bracket for the exhaust backbox/silencer broke off and is now held up with 10 square earth cable so it is thick cable and has held it up for the past few months no bother but I am just wondering if that is a NCT fail?

It is not wrapped around the silencer there is a piece of a bracket left where the original used to be and it is threaded through there and connected to the frame of the car so it does the job but I'm pretty sure I know that the answer is a fail but I just thought I would ask anyway. Cheers.

Since its going to the bracket It might pass and would be worth a try imo.

For bodging exhaust brackets and the likes I find galband to be a decent job.
