Hi We're thinking of trying to get away for a weekend around Oct/Nov Maybe Amsterdam or somewhere like that. Any recommendations of where to go or how to do it on a budget? Thanks

Amsterdam is cheap to get to. Hotel prices will quickly make it an expensive trip. Then once you get there, everywhere is like temple bar prices. Not a budget friendly city.

Check Eastern Europe. Krakow, Budapest etc. Budapest is one of the cheapest places I've been and definitely up there with being as beautiful as Vienna and Paris.
