Insulation of log cabin

I'm thinking of putting a layer of rock board/cement board on an existing small log cabin. Would it be possible to add more insulation between the existing wall and the rock board/cement board while doing so?

Here is a link to the information on the cabin:  -snip-

It is lived in continuously. It has a gas heater. The roof is insulated. It has the pluming as shown on the website.

The roof and wall have the more expensive options on the website. Standard ventilation.

What's the log cabin used for? What's the floor area? How long do people spend in it continuously? Does it have heating? Is the intention to heat it continuously? Does it have any plumbing? Combustion appliances? How much weight can be safely added to the structure? What is the current wall and roof build up? Do you intend to insulate the roof? How is moisture currently managed? What is the ventilation design?
