    Hello,

We have organised for our dog to fly from Perth to Dublin with a Perth based pet transit company. All was given the go ahead until we received a phone call today saying that due to our dog and her crate size combined (over 60kg) no airline will fly her from London to Dublin. Has anyone else encountered an issue like this? She's due to fly in under 2 weeks.

    Kind Regards,
    Ciara

    Hi Ciara,

Can I ask what transit company you used?

I recently got quotes for my dog from Brisbane and none quoted a stopover at London, all we’re Dubai-Dublin. The two main quotes were from Jetpets and Dogtainers, I got a lot cheaper with other companies but they were lesser known.

Sorry I have no experience to help you. If you’re still stuck maybe try contact Jetpets? I found their customer service to be excellent. I’m really surprised that the company you booked through didn’t know this in advance. I hope it works out and you get your girl home.
