    Based upon a suggestion from a post in another thread:
    As the title suggests, can you think of Irish radio presenters who have never been
    on Irish radio, but instead have been on non-Irish stations?

    The first example I have comes from the original suggestion that gave me the idea for this thread! I am talking about Angela Scanlon on BBC Radio 2. The next example I have is Annie Mac on BBC Radio 1. Then there is Henry Kelly: Classic FM, LBC 97.3, BBC London 94.9 and BBC Radio Berkshire.

    Des Lynam OBE is described as an Irish-born British TV & Radio broadcaster.

    Desmond Michael Lynam was born in Ennis, County Clare, Ireland moved with his family to Brighton, England, at the age of six. He recalled having a strong Irish accent at the time, but eventually lost it.

    Lynam started his career in broadcasting as a freelance radio journalist, on BBC Radio Brighton (1968–1969). He quickly joined national BBC radio in London and went on to anchor Sport on Two and Sports Report (1969–1978) on BBC Radio 2. From 1974–1976 he co-presented the Today programme on BBC Radio 4 on three mornings each week.[3] He was also the radio boxing commentator for 20 years and then turned his attention to TV since 1977.

    Best remembered in subsequent years for presenting BBC Grandstand, Match Of The Day, Wimbledon Tennis Championships, Olympic Games, FIFA World Cups etc;

    Graham Norton (Graham William Walker is his real name) from outside Bandon, County Cork, Ireland

    In terms of Radio broadcasting, it would appear that Graham commenced on BBC Radio 2 in the UK.
