Hi I am a full time counsellor in a school and will now be working privately as well for a few hours at the weekend for a career consultation company. How will this affect my pay or will it? Do I need to contact revenue to sort out tax? Not sure how I’ll be taxed now I’ll have two incomes coming in. One public and one…

If the new company are paying you then they should withhold your PAYE & PRSI contributions.
If you are going self employed then you'll have to do a tax return yourself and pay up whats due.
