Thoughts on laptop/price?

Was looking at picking up the following and thought I'd sanity check it here before moving any further - link here. There's a promotion on until Wednesday that brings it down to £750 which seems like a good price to me. Spec at a high level is 8th Gen i7, 512GB SSD, 16GB RAM, IPS.

Will be using for work and I travel to client sites a bit so light weight is important to me. Any thoughts?

Hmm scratch that - it's actually much more expensive on Dell Ireland which is a pity. €1100 vs around €800 on UK site.

I was going to say... not much use looking to the UK site if you're in the republic.

Do you have any more input as to what you will do on this computer? Is it basic office type tasks, or is there anything more?

That's a huge price difference. Pity - I was through to payment stage but now it's definitely outside budget. Is there any downfall to having delivered to UK? Assuming the warranty for pick up in the 1st year won't be honored in Ireland?

In terms of what I'm looking for - it's really just a general work computer. Email, browsing, video. Most intensive thing it'll be doing is a huge number of browser tabs open at once alongside Excel/Word/other desktop apps. Have a cheap but light/small laptop at the moment (Lynx Ultraslim) and it's perfect in form, but struggles when doing a few things at once. Had picked it up to get me going, but ready to pick up a more long term laptop now.

Budget of around €800 - light and a bit future proof are main criteria which that laptop seemed to fit the bill for with latest i7 and 16GB RAM.

Looks like there's one in the same spec in the Euro outlet as certified refurbished. Comes in at around 700 in total.

I'd pull the trigger if the price was right. Is this on the ie outlet store? Not too sure how Dell outlet works these days. Post up the spec here if you want us to have a look over it.

It was on the Euro store, but guy on chat Window is moving it across to the IE Outlet for me. Should be there by today/tomorrow. Exact spec is here - would be great to get thoughts:

    Whopper spec. No brainer.

So just to update here - I went through with the purchase, and when I got the confirmation email the spec was different. Exact same machine, but with 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD instead so I cancelled it. I'm 99% sure the version in the EU outlet was the spec I was looking for, but the Dell sales rep says it hasn't changed since they moved it from the EU to the IE outlet so that's that I guess. Could definitely be that I made the mistake too, but there's no point in worrying about it now.

Was back on to the Outlet and closest I can get is the exact same spec in the Latitude 7390 but also with touchscreen. This probably suits me better in fairness, as the battery is much better than the Inspiron, but comes in at €900 instead of €700 which is a bit of a jump.
